Lauren Blair's Fashion Blog

I have other blogs amongst the internet world, but the older I get the more obsessed I become about putting outfits together that are polished, fun, coordinated, and often times retro and/or classic. My instagram is www.instagram.com/laurenblairz :) I love dresses, skirts (especially midi-lengths), heels, bright colors, interesting patterns, novelty prints, vintage fashion and so much more!!! So follow me, let's have some fashion fun, and I'll follow you back!

Fashion advice or other Q's-ask here!   Submit Outfit Pics here:
Slight departure from usual with my latest outfit of the day!  As you all know, I tend to wear a lot of dresses and skirts.  Despite my love affair with feminine fashion, I actually have quite the collection of fun pants!  For the winter and nights in moderate seasons (like now in spring) when it can be brisker at night I like to have fun colors to wear if I have to be in pants of some kind.  This was what I wore to dinner last night so I decided to go for pants as the temperature dropped slightly and you never know how much air conditioning any establishment is pumping out this time of year.
I styled this outfit together using my love of color blocking.  The shirt is so neon that I didn’t want to pair it with any patterns or other neon pants (I have a highlighter yellow pair and a bright orange) to prevent being too loud and to try to have a cleaner look all-around. The blue pants are coming off as kind of bright but they seem to adapt to whatever I’m wearing; bright clothes make them brighter and soft clothes make them softer.  Without having shoes that match exactly I decided to go for a complimentary pair I have and use one of my favorite handbags to tie together all of the colors.  Plus I pulled out my baby blue earrings for an extra pop!
Earrings- Old Navy
Top- H&M
Pants- Forever 21
Bag- Melie Bianco
Heels- Guess
